The playroom package includes
Video Call - Initial 30 minute virtual call to kick-off the design package. I ask questions, get to know you and your needs.
Furniture Plan - To advise the best circulation for your playroom. Incorporating your existing furniture pieces and new ones.
The Reveal - A video call to reveal the Design Presentation. Time to hear your feedback, answer questions and refine to best suite your needs.
Shopping List - A list of items that you can purchase or use as inspiration to make your best playroom.
Design Tips - Organization tips and finishes tips (ie. paint) for your playroom to make the function of your playroom livable.
Why Studio Dubarry?
Aside from being a professional trained Interior Designer for more than 15 years, I am also a mum with my own pre-schooler. My family choose to move to a smaller home (750 SF) to be closer to the parks and a good neighborhood school. I work from home and love living small. Once quarantine happened though, we’ve had to get creative with no yard and limited house space. Experience is the best education.

Do you only do Virtual Design Packages for playrooms? No, virtual design packages can be done for any room type though timing and budget may vary depending on the type of remodel. Please email info@studio-dubarry.com to start the conversation.
Where do you get your furniture? My sources vary. I try to include a combination of local sources and options that can easily ship to Hawaii. If there is a “perfect” piece that is more of a challenge to deliver, I give advanced warning if it might take a lot of time (ie. 6 months) or it might cost a lot to ship.
Do you have to make furniture purchases through Studio Dubarry? No, you do not. You are welcome to make any purchases on your own. If you would like Studio Dubarry to order the furniture it would be billed at an hourly rate and all furniture designer discounts are extended directly to you.
What is the difference between an Interior Designer and an Interior Decorator? Interior Decorators typically focus on the more decorative elements such as furniture, paint selection, window treatments, rugs… Interior Designer typically have more formal training with knowledge of Interior Architecture, drafting skills, general building code, etc… I am a formally trained Interior Designer though I do enjoy the Decorating part as well.
I don’t know what style I want - can you still help me? Yes, part of my role is to help determine the style that best suits your lifestyle and what you need. At the end of the day, I want you to enjoy the home you live in.
Can you integrate my favorite furniture into the design? Absolutely!
